ReplyDeleteMirt has many aliases. This is one of them. Elmar, err Mirt, is onmy to happy to let the the people in Phandalin think of him as a small trader named Elmar. Its easier to hide away in Phandalin, in times of need in plain sight. Just taking a break from the intrigue and responsiblities for a few weeks can be nice too. This is also a nice retreat with a mistress, who he doesnt want to reveal his wealth, fame and titles too. Wink 😉
