The Heroes enter the cave, but are soon stopped by a deadly trap. They decide to try a different approach, and look for another entrance on the side of the cliffs. On a small ledge on the side of the mountains, they find a volcanic vent guarded by an Oni, a blue ogre with powerful magical abilities.
They defeat the creature, and decide to take a rest by the hole. But Flame, the Red Terror, suddenly flies out of the vent, and attacks! The Heroes battle the dragon at the best of their abilities, while the wyrm keeps his distance and covers them with dragonfire.
Once again, it is Ruthinn to claim the kill, as the Air Elemental he summoned with a magical stone slams the dragon one last and decisive time. With the dragon dead, and its minions on the run, the Heroes take their time to loot the lair.
